Can I use multiple transcoders to speed up ingest?
It is possible for cloud ingests to take advantage of multiple iconik Edge Transcoders to speed up ingest, and even spin the up temporarily on cloud infrastructure to help mass ingest.
Can I have multiple transcoders working with an ISG?
It's not possible to have multiple transcoders of the same type, unless the type of transcoder itself allows for running across multiple servers.
However it is possible to run multiple ISGs on different servers against the same storage if the storage is partitioned so that the ISGs do not overlap on the files that they are work on.
