Comments as Markers

When you import as asset in to Premiere, we also bring in any comments that are timecoded in to Adobe Premiere as markers.

This helps with being able to identify regions that need to be edited or past comments on possible issues with the file that you are bringing in.

Only the first level of comments is brought in - replies to the comments will be ignored.

Updating markers

It's possible to update the markers, if the comments have be changed or new comments added to a clip that is already imported.

To update all markers

  1. Select all the Project Items in the Premiere Bin that you want updated.
  2. Open the iconik Panel in Adobe Premiere Pro.
  3. Open the project tab in the iconik Panel.
  4. Click on the gearbox on the top right of Project Files
  5. Choose "Update Markers for Selected Bin Items"
